Banned again

Recently, I have been trolling on LENR Forum [1]. Don’t know why, but these guys drive me crazy. Probably it is all that “not even wrong” stuff the site is all about.

But I gotta give them credit for resilience: I had to turn real nasty until got banned.

First, they started to delete my messages without any apparent reason,  greetings to David Nygren and Barty. Other posts, more evil in tone, where allowed to stay, and that is what I hate the most in forum moderation.

The moderation incoherence made me still nastier, and finally they threw me out.

Now I get a funny message:

Untitled-1

It seems, I have insulted them. Shame on me.

Serves me well. My time is better used elsewhere. And my Big Oil check is late again, so why bother.

Meanwhile, LENR zombification is spreading. New victims in Iceland [2].

But this time LENR seems to cause radiation [3]. Now, this is a totally new breed of LENR, in sharp contrast with Andrea Rossi’s fairytale gadget, that is supposed to produce no radiation what so ever (which I actually do believe).

Of course, this guy seem to be more credible than Rossi, but I still call bullshit on this one. As a pathological skeptic, that is my duty.

What next?

  1. When one of your comment gets deleted, there should be always a reason – it has touched something. It is more probable hitting truth than hitting souls will make it disappear faster…

  2. I admit I haven’t been nice. Nor have I the patience to argue in civilized manner, not always at least.

I must say I am awfully sorry, if I have insulted someone personally. It is not my intention, although I understand that it may sometimes be hard to believe.

Maybe I would be happier to be with the congregate, to believe into something wonderful.

Well, I do believe in knowledge, science and technology. I also believe in companionship and love.

People could get all kinds of things done and solved, sans the two basic human qualities, that make it extremely difficult: stupidity and greed.

I believe Einstein also mentioned fear in this context and I agree.

Sentiments aside, the congregate did put forward a rather poor example. Cheers to Barty.

You are a truly entertaining man. Everytime you post something on this blog I’m reduced to tears of absolute hilarity. I had no idea that humanity could stoop so low. You’ve got your own particular brand of stupid, blissful ignorance and incompetence that I find very amusing.

Tell me, have you moved out of your mothers basement yet? Why don’t you go actually do something with your life. Of course, you can do whatever you like. If your idea of fun is shitting on other people’s ideas, and essentially being the physical manifestation of everything wrong with humanity, go ahead.

People could get all kinds of things done and solved, sans the two tragic types of people that live amongst us: Idiots, and you.

Must of been so easy for someone so clearly more intelligent then the rest of us. Someone so intelligent, they don’t even have to back their own claims (presumably to ‘save time and resources’ AKA because you don’t actually know how to back any of your claims). Clearly your huge amounts of ignorance and snark comments are enough to dismiss 10+ years of dedicated research by scientists around the globe.

“Ironically, it is exactly something that could be done by a 6 year old. 14 are too many: you’re too old to play with rockets”
Hey, your the one that said I have a fine education. Your the one who called me the smart one, not me. Although compared to you guys I practically look like a genius. Go figure.
Hint: When I said ‘rocket’ I didn’t mean the pink painted Estes rockets you flew when you were 14.

      • Sorry that was an incredibly harsh reply. I was just infuriated by your insults agains the community of LENR. You should just leave them alone as you clearly do not understand the process of scientific discovery, the scientific method, open source science or anything else relevant to LENR.

If you truly believe LENR is impossible, replicate the Alexander Parkhomov experiment and log all findings and data scientifically. If you do a 1:1 replica and find that you do not produce ANY anomalous or excessive heat, I will begin to take you more seriously.

        Sorry for that reply.

          • I can understand this rejection of the results from these ‘hot’ LENR experiments. I too find them puzzling. How on earth could such a device exist? It seems practically magical. I find it hard to believe that such a thing could exist. Alas, I’ve seen plenty of experiment results with very close data to one another. There are lots of supposed ‘LENR’ experiments which I believe are total and utter bullshit due to the incredibly, shall we say, ‘unconvincing’ attempts at using these methods to generate LENR’s on demand.

However I think that amongst the capacious amounts of BS there is something very interesting happening. Particularly, there does indeed seem to some sort of reaction happening in the more recent ‘hot’ LENR experiments. I have spent a good deal of time reviewing the data between various experiments and I am convinced that there is indeed something happening that is producing far more energy then a chemical reaction could. Unfortunately we still do not understand what is causing this reaction. That is one of the primary reasons for my research into the field: I plan to create a Parkhomov reactor and study the ‘Nuclear Active Environment’ to try and ascertain what might be going on.

Of course, I probably won’t succeed. It’s nuclear science after all (If it even is that).

As I said, if you wan’t to disprove us wrong, and you truly believe that LENR’s are not possible, create a 1:1 replication of one of these ‘hot’ LENR experiments with rigours scientific accuracy and publish your data. If you find that you see no anomalous heat generation, I will be in a position to review your data, replicate your experiment, and see whether you are right.

That’s how science works. So far, it’s worked out pretty well. Those of you that claim science works through mathematics and theory: Theory’s are only temporary hypothesis about what might be happening. Experiments prove, disprove or cause modification to these hypothesis that over time become what we call ‘laws of science’. But they still aren’t concrete, unbreakable facts: just well backed hypothesis.

Oooh, I like you. Your completely correct: your beliefs would not affect reality. Neither will your piles of bullshit you tell yourself. Your ‘reality’ seems to be under the impression LENR’s can’t, and will never, be possible. Well, I would call that a belief, wouldn’t you? In fact, a large portion of this website is dedicated to this belief. Whether you call it “belief” or “Transcendent Wisdom” or “My mommy’s five rules of science” is irrelevant.

Belief: “an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists.”

Well, I think that proves my point. Next time don’t wave ‘fancy’ words around without knowing what they mean.

  3. Of course, I am an evil bastard.

But only to those who have it coming. You see, I am not worried about saving true believers souls. But am worried, that some people actually can and do believe the fantasy is true.

It is human nature for most of us and skepticism must be learned, same goes for me.

As small as it may be, I like to fight pseudoscience and false knowledge with everything I can. Of course, I could get lost in the process, and my methods can be freely criticized.

But rest assured, that when the E-Cat finally becomes a viable energy source and my house is heated with the miracle, I will be first to apologize to all.

  4. Tyy, Rossi (“Leonardo Corporation”) is actually selling 1-MW E-Cats and 10 kW E-Cats for “home use” on-line!! Here’s the link: ecat.com/ecat-products.

I am not a lawyer (thank God!) but in my opinion this is misrepresentation and fraud, as well as internet fraud. My plan is to report his scam to the appropriate state and Federal agencies. After more than seven years and millions of useless words of comments from Rossi/E-Cat acolytes, I have had enough of this nonsense.

“My plan is to report his scam to the appropriate state and Federal agencies”

It would be nice if the appropriate Fed Agencies could do something, but I am quite sure they have their offices on Uranus, if they really do exist – point is: it seems law is more on scammers side than on the opposite side, as even NASA and MIT names are used in many scams and it seems as if they can do nothing about that.

In any case, let us know if you find appropriate Fed Agencies on Earth

There was one case in Finland couple of years ago, that lead to probation. The “inventor” raised about million euros from private people to develope a new type of battery, that did not exist.

Meanwhile, there have been others scams in Finland gone unpunished, because no litigant has complaint.

One other Finnish guy raised several million euroes from private investors. He claimed to have developed a theory of everything, and a new energy source of course. Wrote a book about it and found a company. There where also quite famous Finnish and Swedish people at the board of directors, amazingly enough.

And yes, he got away with it. This happened in Finland just couple of years ago.

          World is a strange place.
